"My mission at The Office Yogi is to help reduce employee stress and increase employee equanimity, peace of mind and balance within the workplace. If we can increase self-awareness and knowledge we can start to change old habits that push us further down the stress spiral.
Office yoga, mindfulness meditation and practices, stress management group lectures & small group workshops, are the tools I use to help employees lay down a solid foundation so that the twists and turns of life will be met with a strong center, a sense of calm and distance to make thoughtful decisions and have better communication. By building better self-awareness we promote emotional, mental and physical well-being and those improvements will be felt not just within the company but throughout the community as well.
We spend over a third of our day at work and most of us bring it home with us. We share our work stresses both consciously and unconsciously with our family and friends and even with strangers that we encounter throughout the day. Together we can build the skills and strategies necessary to reduce chronic stress and to foster a healthy work environment."
